Lewisville Saddle Club Giving

Beginning in 2007, Lewisville Saddle Club began a new giving tradition. For 2007, the board voted to donate $500 to a charity selected by a club member. In this inaugural year, the board asked Roger McLeroy to select the charity. Roger and his large family are long-standing, active members of the Lewisville Saddle Club and it was unanimous that Roger be the first member to begin our new tradition.

The following is our history of giving:

For 2008 and beyond, the proceeds from our Membership/Charity Playday – the first of each season – will be used to fund the charity donation. Attendees will be charged a small fee for the playday events and given the opportunity to add separate donations to the charity fund. The board-selected member who will choose the charity will be announced at the year end banquet in December.
