Greetings members,

The holidays are behind us, and 2010 is in full swing. Several of our members have already been out promoting Lewisville Saddle Club by participating in the Fort Worth Stock Show Parade. Thank you to the Minteer Family and the Collie Family for braving the rainy weather forecast and attending the parade. You guys make us proud.

We have many activities on the schedule for 2010 and President Michael Wheeler is working closely with another organization that could bring some great excitement to the saddle club grounds. He will share that information with you at the quarterly meeting once he gets the specifics nailed down.

That being said, the Quarterly meeting for February has been moved to February 9, 2010 at 7 p.m. at the Lewisville Rec Center on Civic Circle. I hope all of you can attend. We have a lot of things to discuss and would like to have your input on them.

Enclosed you will find a preliminary schedule for 2010. This may have some additions to it as the year progresses.

The first workday of the year is scheduled for February 13, 2010 to help get the arena cleaned up and prepared for playday season. This workday we will need to assist Board of Director Gene Montgomery in getting the new grill hood installed in the concession as well as some cleaning in there, stocking the concession, some weed eating, limb clean up, tractor shed cleanup, etc.

February 20, 2010 marks the KICK OFF of Playday Season 2010 with our Annual Charity / Membership Playday.

If you know of a family or person that is interested in joining our great organization or would like a bit more information, please have them contact me or the website and we will get any information out to them that we can.
